Hello everyone!Whether you are back to school already  – or heading back soon – I want to talk about the #1 mindset shift you can make as a parent this Back to School season.And that is….Really honoring how stressful the last 2.5 years of parenting have been.I feel like parents just do what we need to do everyday – without really recognizing that stress levels have consistently been at an all time high for years.In fact, last year The American Academy of Pediatrics, American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Children’s Hospital Association came together to declare a National Emergency in Child and Adolescent Mental Health.Did you know this?I certainly didn’t know this as a parent.I only found it through my research as a parent educator.We really need to get the word out that our children are in a mental health crisis.So…If you’re struggling as a parent….If your kids’ behavior challenges are CHALLENGING…If you’re struggling this Back to School season….
