finding your gold in all you do.

There are so many...
sticks,
logs,
boulders,
and sometimes all-out-avalanches in life.
It hurts.

But do you know what you-- my community of 500+ moms-- has taughtme?

That those challenges
-- all the hurdles + the things that stand in your way--
they are actually your sweet spot.

Not at the time of course.
At the time, they hurt.
Period.

Like when...
* You lose someone you love.

* Or shrink your favorite sweater in the dryer.

*And your kids write on the wall with sharpies.

* Or you don't have one minute to yourself during the day,
and you crash out exhausted with your kids at 8 o'clock.

When you lose yourself in being a mom.

Or it's one of those days when nothing is going right,
and you want to trade your life in for a new one.

All those times that your wish weren't a part of life,
but they are.

Here's what you've taught me about these crazy-hard
or down-right unfulfilling times in life.

And what you can do to come out on top,
like the shining-star-mama-goddess you are.

1) You challenge is the quest that leads to your gold.

Sometimes it's just a flip of the switch,
and suddenly you see it and feel it clear as can be.
The life lesson you're here to master.
And when you do, life is sweeter.
You feel strong in all that you face.

Other times, your current boulder or avalanche in life
runs sssssooo deep not only in your life,
but through generations and generations in your family.

And if that's the case,
the challenge that leads to your gold is to love, honor & respect
yourself-- no matter what.
And to build a new infrastructure within yourself
that sustains your amazing self on the daily.

Whether there's a stick or an avalanche in your path,
you've taught me the power of finding your gold in your lesson.
And that it is 100% possible.
It's who you are.

2) The very best thing you can do is speak your truth.

The power of humanity is our ability to help one another.
You may feel like you're the only one in the world
who's struggling.
When in reality, we are all working together
on such similar challenges.

You will help yourself and others beyond belief when you...
Speak your truth.
It is the path to your gold.

Finding your voice to speak your truth may come in a whisper,
or you may be ready to launch your message to the world.

Either way, your power is speaking about your life to others.
You will help and inspire them beyond belief.

3) See your gold.
Sometimes life seems to throw you an eternal pattern
of hard times and lessons.
Sometimes you get in a rough groove that becomes a rut.
But your gold is still there, within you.
All the time.

So see your gold, mamas
--- especially when life is hard.
It is the way you bring all that you love + want + deserve
into your daily life.
See your gold,
and believe in it.
So your gold becomes stronger than your challenges.

Do you love this work of transforming your challenges into your gold?
This is the very work we're going to do everyday
in our positive parenting mastermind
beginning this January 2017.

We're going to take your daily challenges
and the big boulders of your life lessons....
to harvest,
integrate,
and actualize
the gold of your existence.
Your life is golden, mama.
Let's do this.
2017

Big love+ lots of gold,
Megan

    Mama Megan

Hi friends,  I write from the heart to tell my life story, and the story of those in my neighborhood called life. Research shows that our children's emotional & mental health is contingent upon us parents being able to tell our life story, or "coherent narrative."  This is my coherent narrative, my life story in the making, with some of what I love in life too. My goal is to share my life in a way that is real, uplifting & positive- sometimes serious, sometimes fun. In my practice, I inspire parents to empowerment through reclaiming our life stories and learning respectful discipline. My work is my offering to our children- our future. Wishing you all a happy family!
